Many of our families have been struggling to make ends meet and feed themselves for a long time. Thousands of our neighbors rely on SNAP (food stamps) to feed their families each month. A disruption of any kind will instantly leave thousands across Western New York struggling to afford groceries — and we refuse to let anyone face that alone.
Crossroads Community Fund is gathering information to understand:
- What problems our community has in feeding themselves
- How many households in our community depend on SNAP
- What kind of support people will need if benefits are delayed or stopped
- How we can organize food, funds, and resources to fill the gap
